Douglas J Aveda Institute's Grand Rapids branch campus is located in the redeveloping downtown Grand Rapids Heartside Community. This campus maintains 14,000 square feet of space. 5,000 square feet is dedicated to clinic floor space, including 60 styling stations, a color mixing area, 9 shampoo bowls, and 3 hooded dryers. The Institute's spa consists of 5 manicure and 4 pedicure stations along with 4 spa rooms. 3,000 square feet is used for the 2 classrooms. 2,500 square feet is devoted to retail sales and Aveda experience services, including two full makeup bars.
